Latest News!
April 2010 - Martyn wins the Royal College of Music Violin Competition, Magnes Prize for the best solo Bach performance. He is also awarded a Postgraduate study scholarship by the Musician's Benevolent Fund and Martin Musical Scholarship Fund.
March 2010 - Martyn wins the Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year Competition 2010 and will perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with the Lydian Orchestra in July.
February 2010 - Martyn receives the Norman Cox Memorial Prize at Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra's Concerto Competition 2010.
November 2009 - Martyn has been selected as a 2010 Concordia Foundation Artist, and as a result will receive concert platforms at various top London venues.
June 2009 - Martyn wins the 1st Malvern International Young Musician's Festival.
February 2009 - Martyn has been selected to perform in the 2009 Royal College of Music Rising Star's Concert Series at Cadogan Hall.
January 2009 - Martyn is currently through to the finals of the Eastbourne Young Soloist of the Year 2009 Competition where will perform Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto and Paganini Concerto no. 2. He is the only British competitor to reach the finals.
November 2008 - Martyn is awarded the Musician's Benevolent Fund Music Education String Award.
October 2008 - Martyn has recently began to play on a fine Carlo Antonio Tononi Violin C. 1689 kindly on loan to him by the Royal College of Music.
